Skeet Shoot Walkthrough
Skeet Shoot is a simple, yet addictive hunting game that appeals to a wide variety of hunting game fans. While newcomers are going to have a hard time getting a decent score when they first begin playing, they will be able to improve their shooting skills as they play allowing them to make decent progress in the game and get higher scores with each attempt. More experienced players are going to love that this game offers a real challenge right from the start which only increases as the game progresses. This isn't a easy game, but it's far too much fun to pass up.
The greatest advantage Skeet Shoot offers is that it's beautifully simple. While other hunting games try to be more interesting by adding upgrades, bonuses and a variety of other gimmicks to boost their appeal, this one sticks with what works - great graphics and challenging levels. The controls are easy to use and the gun you start out with is more than enough to carry you through the game. There are no advanced weapons or bullets to make the game easier. The focus here is on rewarding good shooting skills. Again, newcomers might have trouble with that, but practice will pay off. Not really a disadvantage when you consider how much fun practice is in this game.
When you start off in Skeet Shoot you have only one target to shoot at a time. As you progress though, you'll have multiple targets released. At the completion of each level, you'll see your accuracy and your score. Your accuracy is based on the number of targets you hit versus the number of shots you fired not the number of targets you hit versus the number of targets released. Newcomers should just focus on hitting the targets they think they can hit. Sometimes that will mean choosing one target over another, but don't worry too much about that. While more experienced players will likely be able to hit all of the targets on the screen, that is a pretty lofty goal for a newcomer. Save those attempts for when you've honed your skills a little hit more.
The best way to do well in Skeet Shoot is to focus on timing and aim. Both of these aspects are crucial to hitting your targets. This is generally true in hunting games but is especially true here. You can have excellent aim, but if you don't fire at the right time, you'll miss the target. The same can be said of timing. You can time your shot perfectly, but if you don't aim it right, you'll miss. Keep both of these things in mind when you're taking your shots and you should be fine. You only get two shots before you have to reload, so make those shots count.
Overall, Skeet Shoot is an excellent hunting game for any fan of the genre regardless of skill or experience level. Newcomers will struggle, but if they stick with it, they'll be able to do well. Experienced players will love the challenge of the game and will appreciate the graphics quality as well as the fact that there is a new backdrop for each round. This keeps the game from getting bland and boring. This hunting game also offers a nice alternative for those players who love the thrill and challenge of trying to shoot a moving target but don't like the blood content in other games in the genre or who don't like the idea of shooting at people or animals. Whether you consider yourself a fan of hunting games or are just looking for a fun game to kill a little time with, this is definitely one you need to check out.
